Matchbox has introduced a refreshed logo along with updated brand colors and fonts. The rebrand also comes with menu updates across its DC-area locations.
After gathering feedback from guests, two key requests stood out: more shareable menu options and a stronger brand personality. The updates were designed to directly reflect those preferences.
According to Sarah Zubair, Senior Brand Manager at Thompson Restaurants, the refreshed match icon and maroon color palette honor Matchbox’s history while presenting a more modern and energetic brand identity.
