If you’re selling your home this year, there are a few things you can do right now to start preparing. Here’s my advice.

If you’re planning on selling your home in the next few months, here are the three things you need to do to get ready:

1. Make your home HGTV-ready. According to research, 95% of homebuyers begin their search online, and they want to see the best homes. If you need to redo some paint, flooring, or other deferred maintenance, now is the time to reach out to contractors to get an estimate so we can set up a budget.

2. Start packing and decluttering now. Packing is a process, but now is a good time to start packing away all the “things” you’ve accumulated in your home and make it as clutter-free as possible.

3. Curb appeal. Not only does your home need to look good on the inside, but it also needs to look good from the curb. Making sure your yard and driveway are clean is key, and adding some flowers on the front porch will help too.

If you have any questions for me, don’t hesitate to reach out via phone or email. I look forward to hearing from you soon.
